Buyer - Pest Products and Supplies
Job Purpose:
Monitor and manage purchasing related functions for direct and indirect spend. Manage inventory across multiple locations, new product introductions, slow moving & obsolete inventories and vendor rebates.
Job Activities:
Monitor and adjust service center requests for product.
Comply with industry regulations.
Perform RFI/RFQ activities.
Issue Purchase Orders to vendors.
Distribute inventory via intra company transfers.
Monitor industry trends.
Monitor MRP for future inventory level issues.
Enter new items/maintain data in the ERP system.
Perform analysis using MS office applications.
Other duties as needed.

Prerequisite
Experience:
1 year of purchasing experience
Logistics experience
ERP system experience
Familiar with the APICS body of knowledge
Preferred
Qualifications:
3 years of distribution industry experience.
4 year business or engineering degree
APICS CPIM or similar certification
ISM CPSM certification
