Shop Technician:
Recharge.
Hydrostatic testing.
Maintenance of portable fire extinguishers brought in by franchise owners.
Periodic maintenance of portable fire extinguishers at customer locations.
Shipping, receiving, and Inventory control.
Vehicle deliveries to customers.
Other duties as required.
Job
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior warehouse/inventory experience.
Fire protection back ground a plus.
Strong organizational skills, the ability to communicate with others, and customer service skills are required.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid drivers license with a good driving record required.
Ability to lift up to 75lbs on a regular basis and be mechanically inclined.
The ability to follow manufacturer's manuals and national standards and the neat completion of paperwork are musts for this position.
Must have a current California Fire Extinguisher Certificate of Registration.
Must be able to Obtain Hazardous Material transport to California drivers license.
Must be able to pass required background screening and drug test.
