Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic
Santa Fe Springs, California
In this highly versatile role, you will serve as a machine and equipment repairer, performing a variety of mechanical maintenance duties, including the repair, reconditioning, rebuilding, fabrication, testing and predictive maintenance of plant equipment, tools and fixtures. Youll also plan the sequence and method of fabrication and repair work and manage the inventory of spare parts. You will also conduct daily reporting and tracking of activitiessome of which will require utilization of SAP on the computer systemand provide immediate response to production needs and requirements, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulations. Overtime will be mandatory when support is needed.
To qualify, you should hold a high school diploma or GED, and possess a minimum of 5 years demonstrated multi-craft maintenance experience in an industrial/chemical plant environment (preferred). Youll also need a valid California drivers license. You should have strong problem-solving skills, a working knowledge of SAP R/3 and process equipment, and excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal- and written-communication skills. You must be able to organize priorities and perform at a fast pace while multi-tasking. Importantly, your work style should be one of teamwork, which includes an ability to work with contractors.
