Position OverviewThe Sr.
Product Engineer will be the onsite engineering representative working with production personnel.
You will work with a cross functional team to develop best practices for manufacturing new Lithium-ion modules, battery packs, and accessories.
Areas of FocusDevelop manufacturing technology, make process improvements to existing equipment/processes, troubleshooting of production issues, and identify possible quality issues of next generation battery packs.
Responsibilities Work with design engineers to identify product issues Work with advanced manufacturing group to troubleshoot equipment Identify production issues related to product design Audit production processes Support quality group in root cause analysis Create equipment specifications for quoting packages Develop work instructions for new processes Support new product development process through production builds Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing with ability to write reports and procedure manuals Basic Qualifications BS degree in EE/ME or equivalent Minimum of 5-7 years experience Experience working in a manufacturing environment Proficient in CAD modeling, preferably Solidworks Experience with various manufacturing processes Experience with a variety of materials (metals, plastics, etc.
) A detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills Preferred Qualifications PLC experience Lean/Six Sigma ERP experience Machining Cable/Harness experience Electromechanical experience Lithium - ion experience if you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
