Job Description:
The Forklift Operator must have a valid driver's license and at least one year of operating a fork lift experience.
This position will be responsible for operating a forklift to move and load product from one location to another in a face-paced environment.
The position will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by following safety procedures and complying with company policies.
We're looking for applicants who are hardworking and motivated to perform their job effectively, so previous experience and work record are essential to qualify for this position.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Operate forklift to maneuver product from one location to another and familiarize with layout of warehouse.
Ability to multitask with great time management skills.
Move pallets of product on a daily basis by using forklift or other means Keep work area clean and organized Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment in good condition Maintain good communication with Manager and Supervisor regarding issues or requests that may arise during the shift Complete all daily safety and performance checks as required Complete weekly inspection of equipment and ensure it is accurate and up to date as required by the company policy
Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to work 40 hours per week; additional hours may be required based on business needs.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
Must have strong skills with attention to detail.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
