Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Shipping Clerk to join our team! As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for monitoring and processing outgoing deliveries of our company.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Keep records of goods that have been shipped and received, preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for supervisor Tracking & Updating the status of shipments Troubleshooting Shipping Issues Verify all counts, quantities, and descriptions of products prior to putting into finished goods.
Timely and accurate completion of paperwork associated with the movement of product and materials.
Responsible for the general cleanliness of the warehouse.
Perform regular inventory and cycle counts.
Safely fill forklift propane tanks.
Assist other departments as needed.
Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Forklift experience strongly preferred.
Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math, reading, writing and computer skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have mechanical aptitude, a desire to learn manufacturing processes, and a desire to advance.
Possess a strong sense of teamwork and caring for the safety of yourself and others.
Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
Must be available to overtime when needed.
